Winter Garden Seminar: Using Native Plants in Home and Community Gardens

The Montgomery Museum of Art & History is pleased to announce a winter garden seminar to help stimulate green thumbs during the cold season, with a special seminar focused on using native Virginia plants in both home and community gardens. This seminar is free admission, registration suggested but not required.

While the frosty weather may prevent active work in the garden, this is the prime time to start planning for your springtime garden! Our speakers will be sharing information on how community spaces are becoming more ecologically authentic by using native plants and how to use native plants in your own garden.

Raffle tickets available for a $50 gift certificate to Crow's Nest Greenhouses! Purchase your tickets now - $2 each or three tickets for $5. Click the button below to get your tickets. All proceeds from this raffle contribute directly to the Montgomery Museum Garden. The winner will be drawn and contacted on February 14.

  • Carol Davis - Sustainability Manager, Town of Blacksburg
