The Traveling Trunk was created by James Page, Ph.D., who has worked for 36 years to collect the artifacts presented in this traveling exhibit. Mr. Page has been refining his collection and presentation to bring to students the most complete information on colonial artifacts through the Process of Inquiring.

Jim Page provides training for anyone who wishes to introduce this program to students in Montgomery County. The learning process is in accordance with SOL based activities and gives students from grade four and up the opportunity to process information and to problem-solve. Students may arrange to come to the museum or the program can be taken to the schools.

It is the hope of the museum that Montgomery County students and adults will benefit from this creative learning process.
